Scarecrows!

I love to decorate with scarecrows! They are so cute and fun! And they are a fall time decoration, so that is great! So I have 2 inside little ones and I have had 1 boy outside. Today I found him a little girlfriend! I thought she was perfect! Jake said that he is dating up since her face is painted and he just has button eyes. :) I think they are cute together, other than her hair is hiding behind her but she has cute pig tails. So I just thought I would share my cute scarecrows with everyone!

Fall

Fall time is my favorite time of year! You get to wear hoodies and play in the leaves! This last weekend we were driving through the canyon and saw the pretty leaves changing so of course we had to stop and take a picture with them! I'm sure there will be many more leaf pictures to come! I love decorating with pumpkins, leaves and scarecrows! :) I love the smells that go along with Fall as well. The best smell is my pumpkin spice candle, I always have it burning and Jake gets frustrated with me sometimes. I love going up the canyon to have campfires and make smores! Carving Pumpkins, seeing family and going to corn mazes are more great things about fall! It just cant get much better than this, it is the best time of year!!

BBQ

I love summer BBQ's you can never have enough! This past weekend we had all my old roomates over to the house for a BBQ, we get together a couple times a year and have so much fun!! Whenever we get together it usually lasts all night and you leave with your abs hurting from laughing so much! :) It's been so fun to see how our group of 7 has grown over the years, now we even have baby Avalon in our group! I'm glad that we are able to still get all of us together for a fun night of catching up and playing games! Thanks for the great time!

Fun Weekend!

This weekend was a lot of fun! We went to Cafe Sabor (my favorite restaurant in Logan!) with Brody and Kylee then went and saw House Bunny, I loved it! It was so funny, I laughed the entire time! It was great to go out for the night. Then Saturday we went and did some work at the temple, it was a great way to start out the day! Later my sister Jess and her boyfriend Kellan came up to play with us! We played Mario Kart on the Wii forever, it so much fun! Then headed to Firehouse, my second favorite restaurant in Logan! What a great weekend with great food! :) We stayed up late playing games! Jake's competitive side came out a little bit during the game playing and Kellan found out just how competitive Jake is.
On Sunday we received a new calling. We have been in the Junior Nursery since last July, it was so much fun to be with the little kids (18 months to 24 months) but it gets tiring and we missed going to our own classes. So we are now the Emergency Preparedness Specialist of the ward. We feel that this will be a great calling, we will learn a lot with this and we get to go to our classes again! We will miss all of our cute little kids though!
After the wonderful weekend reality had to set back in with school starting today. :( It wont be too bad, its just the fact its starting again. Summer seemed to go by way too fast! Where did August go? One day we will both be done it just seems to never end!

Bear Lake

So this weekend we went up to Bear Lake, it was so fun to play in the water and lay in the warm sun! I think I was supposed to be a lizard, I love the sun! It was our first time we went this summer, sad I know! :( We had a great time with Jake's family up there. We rented some jet ski's to play on, they were fast and fun! After the fun day in the sun was over we headed over to the Bear Lake County fair to see the truck pull with my family. It was Jake's first truck pull, it was so much fun! I'm a little redneck though so I really get into it. We watched a truck that had 5 engines pull, it was a beast! After that we had to go get some doughnuts, I look forward to these doughnuts all year long! They are amazing! Also the Huckleberry smoothie was delicious! On Sunday we went to church with Papa then took some family pictures. We are a good looking family if I say so myself. It was a great weekend overall! I'll put up some pictures once we get them from our Moms. :)

The Cabin

Our latest vacation was up to Island Park to the cabin. It was for the Kunz reunion, we had a lot of family up there and many good times! We played in the water, went 4-wheeling, and played games. It was so nice to get away from work and just relax!

Just getting started

Thanks Amanda for getting me started on this. I will try and keep up on this with our doings in life. :) We are just enjoying the last few weeks of summer before school begins again. Trying to fit in all the family trips. Jake is starting a new job with Wells Fargo Financial on Monday and we are very excited for that!
